Still here? Good, since i found this story from in early Feb, which clearly mentioned that Verizon’s form of the Samsung Universe S5 had been being updated to Android 5.. Also is happening today, nearly two several weeks later. Apparently Verizon pulled the initial update, software version G900VVRU1BNLC, although the reason is not obvious. The brand new version beginning its rollout today is G900VVRU1BOC4.
Verizon’s update notice does not mention anything different – it appears as though the only real factor that’s altered between Feb and today may be the software version number. However, lots of people who taken care of immediately Engadget’s story around the original update reported some severe bugs, including crashing apps and rapid battery drain.
