Google Starts Moving Out Android 6. Marshmallow To Android One Devices Too

Yesterday saw the discharge of Android 6.0’s factory images and OTA updates for that Nexus family. Another number of devices that are meant to obtain the update just like rapidly (and way prior to the OEM smartphones) is Android One phones. And it appears as though Bing is making good on its promise to update these One devices timely and efficiently.

We’ve got word the OTA update is beginning hitting Android One devices within the Philippines and India (Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream 1, Karbon Sparkle V). We already have a couple of threads on XDA with increased details and OTA links (here, here, and here) so that you can flash the update for your phone if you are too eager and should not watch for it hitting your device.

For other countries’ One devices, we do not have any confirmation yet, but because of the fast begin to the rollout, they must be setting it up soon. Keep mashing that button to check on for updates!
